Alimos Public Library

Overview

A website created for the public library of Alimos based on WordPress to allow the use of blog posting complemented by a custom plugin that manages data from the external library database, the plugin allows the users to search for specific books and to look up books they have loaned by entering their member code, in addition the plugin also manages any potential downtime of the external database by storing some of the data locally and also by dropping the connection to the external database so that there is no slowdown of the website and that the website layout keeps working on such occasion.
